MyAsuh is a platform that provides baby-sitting services near you with certified professional babysitters at super affordable rates. Find babysitters near you in just 10 seconds and worry no more because MyAsuh babysitters are professionals with years of experiences and thorough background and personal records checked and verified. The baby-sitters will be under surveillance at all times and inspections will be conducted officially from time to time.
MyAsuh will provide safe services with affordable rates, strategic locations and convenience to the parents and guardians.
I conducted online interviews and surveys to understand parents and guardians. Some guardians complaining about having to send their child to a day care that is far both from their house and their work. Some guardians having some issues like signing up their child for monthly child care because some of them work from home or having a flexible working hours.
The research also revealed that location and time were not the only factor limiting guardians but also the thrustworthy of the child day care because these days, there have been many issues with non certified babysitters abusing the kids.
The flow of the app is simple and straightforward to cater for majority users which mostly elders and provide age friendly interfaces.
Paper wireframes helps envisioning the placement of information and determining what content should be showcased prior to finalizing the visual design.
Before designing, a simple and minimal UI was created to ensure design consistency.
These success metrics provide a comprehensive framework for evaluating the impact of design decisions on user experience and overall app performance.
MyAsuh has emerged as a premier platform for scheduling appointments with babysitters, offering convenience, reliability, and peace of mind to parents and caregivers alike.
With its user-friendly interface, secure payment options, and vetted network of experienced babysitters, MyAsuh streamlines the process of finding trustworthy childcare professionals.
Impact:
“The app really helps new generation mothers to have more flexible child care because in this era, not all people work 9-6pm for 5 days a week. And with MyAsuh, guardians can easily find the closest and trusted babysitter as they partnered with governments to obligate every office buildings and high-rise apartments to have a child day care.”
What I Learned:
While designing MyAsuh mobile App, I try to focus more on the end users which is parents and guardians but fail to think of the other side of users which is the babysitter. After conducting the usability study, I learned to include different interface and sign up page for babysitters.
Next steps:
1. Design different interface for babysitters
2. Conduct another round of usability studies to validate whether both side of end users pain points have been effectively addressed.
3. Conduct more user research to determine any new areas of need.
